Advertising and distribution terms
These headline terms explain the basis of enquiries and bookings. Campaign-specific details are confirmed in writing before payment or delivery.
Availability and reservation
An enquiry does not reserve a category. Full payment reserves the confirmed category. Direct competitors cannot book another space in the same edition once payment is received.
Shared Flyer campaign minimum
Each Shared Flyer edition requires at least eight paid advertisers. If a stated booking deadline passes without the minimum being reached, bookings may be extended once by seven days. Customers can remain booked or request a full refund. If the minimum is still not reached after the extension, the edition is cancelled and eligible payments are refunded. The area, route and delivery period are confirmed in writing before printing.
Artwork
Campaign-specific artwork dates are confirmed in writing. First artwork is normally supplied within two working days after suitable materials are received. Unlimited reasonable amendments are included before final approval. Late material may move to the next edition. Advertisers must check and approve all names, claims, prices, contact details and spelling. Changes cannot be guaranteed after approval or once printing begins.
Cancellation and refunds
If Dorset Family Flyers cancels the campaign, customers receive a full refund. A customer cancelling before artwork begins receives a full refund. Cancellation after artwork begins but before final approval is refunded less a £25 design and administration charge. No refund is normally available after final approval or once printing begins. Exceptional circumstances may be considered at Dean’s discretion.
Leaflet materials
Standard pricing covers A6, DL and A5 leaflets up to 20g each. Larger, heavier or unusually shaped material requires a separate quote. Leaflets can be dropped off in Wallisdown by appointment. Collection is free within five miles of Wallisdown for campaigns of 5,000 or more; other collection is quoted separately. Unused leaflets can be collected from Wallisdown or returned by separately quoted delivery.
Delivery and evidence
Household quantities are campaign targets. Inaccessible, unsafe or clearly opted-out properties may not receive material. Weather, access and safety may affect timing. Routes are tracked privately using a business-controlled Strava account. Completed route maps may be shared with personal information removed. Tracking evidences where the distributor travelled but does not prove delivery to each individual letterbox.
Pricing and VAT
Dorset Family Flyers is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. A Scheduled Shared Route is £300 for 5,000 homes when at least three suitable non-competing businesses are confirmed. Dedicated Distribution starts from £120 per 1,000 and is quoted by area; lower-density or difficult-access routes may cost more.
